Asda vegetable supplier Fenmarc Produce has been awarded the British Safety Council’s International Safety Award for its health and safety policies in the workplace.
“We are really proud to have received this award,” said md Mark Harrod. “It is recognition of the outstanding work our colleagues have done in making Fenmarc a safer place to work. We look forward to everyone’s safety being at the centre of everything we do under the banner ‘we believe nothing at work is worth getting hurt for’.”
Entries for the award are restricted to those firms with accident rates well below average. Entrants have demonstrate the best attitude and commitment to health and safety to an independent panel.
