The Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) is organising a visit to Felixstowe Port next week.
FPC chief executive Nigel Jenney said: “Join us at Felixstowe Port. Hosted with Hutchison Ports (UK), we have a great schedule organised with a guided coach tour of the port including the new deep-sea terminal and inspection facilities.”
The visit will take place on 17 September from 9.30am to 2pm and finish with a networking lunch. It will feature a port update from Murray Gibson and Debbie Coe of Hutchison Ports. Guy Nettleton from the Food & Environment Research Agency, a local inspector and Felixstowe’s examination facilities superintendent, Glenn Giles will also all be on hand to answer questions.
