A new pesticide, designed to fill the gap left by the loss of Intercept 5GR, has been launched by Fargro.
Imidasect 5GR, which contains Imidacloprid is a granular insecticide incorporated into peat-based composts of protected container-grown ornamental plants.
It controls vine weevil and sciarid for upt to 12 months, and aphids and whitefly in containerised ornamental crops for up to three months.
Imidasect 5GR is available in 10kg and 3kg packs. It is being touted as a suitable replacement for Intercept 5GR, which was lost earlier this year.
