The food and drink sector will remain at the centre of the European Fair Trade Fair, reflecting the trend for products such as Fairtrade coffee and bananas now being commonplace on supermarket shelves.

Held in Lyon, France, the fair offers the opportunity to talk directly with suppliers from European wholesalers, distributors and retailers.

Sectors represented include - fresh fruit and fruit-based products, rice, groceries, tea and coffee, fruit juice and chocolate, and an extensive program of workshops organised by a variety of international speakers will be on offer.

The European Fair Trade Fair takes place on October 2-3.
