Intelligent pest management firm Exosect has expanded its product marketing team to respond to escalating international interest

Exosect, a leading provider of intelligent pest management solutions, has announced the appointment of two new product managers to drive the marketing of its innovative, environmentally friendly pest control systems following increased international interest and the appointment of a number of International distribution partners.

Exosect uses patented Entostat powder technology as its platform technology to develop intelligent pest management products which assists growers, food producers and processors to achieve zero residues in their crops and produce high quality food for the consumer.

To date, Exosect’s unique pest management solutions have been maintained under one portfolio, however the increase in product registrations and the pipeline of technology have prompted the company to divide the business in to two business units.

Alison Tod has joined Exosect as product marketing manager, where she will be responsible for orchard and vine products, working with Exosex CM (Codling Moth), and Exosex OFM (Oriental Fruit Moth).

With more than 17 years experience in product management, sales and trade, Tod has worked as an agricultural trader for both Origen Commodities (PVT) Ltd, and Robin Appel Ltd, and more recently worked as an operations manager for Plum Baby Ltd, establishing systems for this start-up company within the FMCG grocery sector. She said: "I am delighted to be associated with a leading innovative company that is contributing to the global drive for zero residues in crop management. I will endeavour to develop and grow new markets in the horticultural sector and look forward to adding value to this highly successful company."

Georgina Kemp, who joined the company in 2003 as assistant sales manager, will now be responsible for products with in the Professional Products business unit, which includes the Stored Product, Public Health, Amenity and Apiculture sectors.
