Organisers of the 2008 European Business Awards have warned that the deadline for entry is looming.

Businesses have until October 18 to enter the awards, which will take place in March at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotel, and will be attended by ‘Europe’s business elite’.

Last year, British companies ARM Holdings and Innocent drinks were honoured at the awards, which has recently extended its partnership with The Wall Street Journal Europe.

Adrian Tripp, the awards’ chief executive, said: “European business is innovative and talented, and it is important that we showcase examples of this brilliance. For the rest of the world the European Business Awards is an advert of our abilities and for Europe, and example for all of us of what is possible.”

Bill Parsons, executive vice president of human resources for ARM, added: “The awards are widely regarded as the leading business awards in Europe and we fought some strong competition to win. As a patron this year, we will watch the 2008 awards with great interest; may the best company win.”
