The sixth global conference aimed at setting standards in safe and sustainable agriculture will take place in Paris next month.
Staged by EurepGAP, the global partnership for safe and sustainable agriculture, Towards Global Harmonisation 2005 aims to provide reassurance to consumers in the face of the world’s rapidly expanding supply chain.
Organisers said the industry’s growth calls for widely implemented production standards across the sector and speakers at the conference will be talking about how to meet these challenges.
The programme will feature specifically designed workshops which offer a major opportunity for those attending to discuss agricultural practices and influence the future content of EurepGAP standards.
The event will run from October 17 -19, and features specific information on aquaculture, livestock and combinable crops and fruit and vegetables, flowers and ornamentals.
