This week Dutch organic produce supplier Eosta started marketing tomatoes in the UK that tell their own story.
Each vine in store at Waitrose and Whole Foods Market has a tag with the grower’s photo and his personal code so that shoppers can find out about their product and its producer online at www.natureandmore.com and comment on it.
Five Dutch growers are taking part in the initiative, which is also running in German, French, Belgian, Dutch and Scandinavian markets.
