English Village Salads (EVS) has launched a brand-new website.

The wholehead salad supplier to the UK retail market and foodservice sector hopes the site will act as a communication tool with its growers and customers.

The website - www.englishvillagesalads.co.uk - features information about EVS and its services, including animated growing plants and weather updates.

An interactive, password protected, technical section will be added later in the year.

An innovation section allows current and new suppliers to submit their new product ideas and varieties to monthly innovation forums.

Kelly Colrein, marketing manager for EVS said: “We were very conscious at the outset of this project that we wanted something that was useable and functional rather than simply a presence on the web.

“So far the feedback has been really positive and we welcome constructive feedback from our customers and supply base in order to continually improve this service.”
