EFSIS reaches new standard

EFSIS has been awarded UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) to evaluate and certify against the EFSIS standard for companies supplying food products.

EFSIS currently inspects and certifies a wide range of food assurance schemes, which are UKAS accredited. Managing director Mark Proctor said: 'This proves we can offer our customers across the global agri-food sector the highest standards in terms of product and service.' The organisation has a track record in achieving UK accreditation across a wide-ranging portfolio of food assurance schemes including the EurepGAP fresh fruit and vegetables standard.
