Efsis-FABBL, the farm assurance specialist, has written to more than 3,000 farmers in England to ensure they are aware that Efsis-FABBL offers inspection to the Assured produce Scheme alongside its portfolio of other assurance schemes.
“Our philosophy is to offer a one-stop shop for all farmers’ assurance needs,” said Tony Blackburn, Efsis Holdings board director. “Assured Fresh produce is a valuable part of our wide range of services, both for fresh produce specialists and the many farmers who produce fresh produce as part of a mixed farm business.
“The one-stop approach means the number of inspectors and verifiers through the farm gate is kept to a minimum, saving the farmer time and money,” he added. “All our inspectors have long experience in the farming sector, with over 95 per cent of them from farming families, so they understand how your business works. We don’t just send them out with a clipboard to tick boxes.”
