Glasshouse equipment manufacturer Ecotech has announced Ian Angus as its new general manager.
A specialist in horticultural automation, Angus has over 30 years of industry experience. In his new role he will be tasked with leading the company through its next stage of development.
The appointment will also allow md Ross Hibbs to work on strategic projects throughout the Cambridge Glasshouse group of companies, of which Ecotech is a part.
Hibbs said: “Originally a grower himself (the fifth generation of his family to be involved in horticulture) Ian has experience of every aspect of the business. Well known in the industry, technically extremely proficient and a great project leader, he will be able to drive the business forward, offering ever improved products, services and customer support. I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
