Eclipse Scientific Group has acquired Restec Laboratories, specialists in the field of independent pesticide residue analysis.
The acquisition sees the alliance of more than 35 years experience in this specialist field.
Eclipse Scientific's managing director Julie Dedman said: “The excellent reputation of Restec in this field will compliment Eclipse's existing residue capabilities and significantly enhance our offering to the combined customer base.” Restec's director Paddy Miles added: “I am delighted by this exciting development. In deciding that the business needs to become part of a larger group to access the areas of IT and logistics, the synergies and business ethos of Eclipse Scientific were ideally matched with Restec's.”
