Selfridges will launch a brand new Italian-themed food festival showcasing over 70 new products from Italian growers and producers.
Over the next few weeks the Selfridges food hall will be showcasing the produce of lesser-known Italian suppliers with customers offered free samples.
The restaurants of Selfridges will also be getting involved as they transform their menus to exhibit an array of Italian delicacies including the beetroot and rocket-heavy 'The Godfather' sandwich sold at the Brass Rail Bar.
"We wanted to showcase the many new artisan Italian producers and we've made sure a lot of the products are new into the UK,” said Nicola Waller, head of food at Selfridges.
The 'Delicious Italy' food festival will be held at Selfridges stores from 17 September to 7 October.
