Farmers and landowners in Norfolk and Suffolk will have the opportunity to find out how to apply for Defra funding at special business clinics beginning this month.
The events will take place in Bury St Edmunds on July 23 and Norwich on July 24. Future clinics are scheduled on September 17, October 22, and November 19 in Suffolk and September 18, October 23 and November 20 for Norwich.
The clinic will provide one-to-one advice for anyone wishing to make an application for funding under Defra's project based scheme. These include: processing and marketing grant, rural enterprise scheme and vocational training scheme.
The schemes are part of the England Rural Development Programme (ERDP), which was launched in April 2000. Since then over £9.4 million has been award to a total of 136 projects throughout the East of England.
