LTO Groeiservice is organising, in co-operation with De Ruiter Seeds and Koppert Biological Systems, an international masterclass for European tomato growers, taking place on October 13-14.
The companies hope participation in the masterclass will bring attendees into contact with progressive growers from several European countries, contacts that are sure to pay dividends now and in the future.
On the opening day, delegates will visit a grower in the west of the country, De Ruiter Seeds' demo glasshouse, Tomato World and the Improvement Centre.
On day two, De Ruiter Seeds and Koppert will deliver three presentations about taste and health, rootstocks and biological crop protection. The masterclass will be delivered in English, with presentations available as handouts in a variety of languages.
