Sir Richard Broadbent has taken over from David Reid as chairman of Tesco.
It was announced earlier this year that Sir Richard would succeed Reid upon his retirement from the role after more than a quarter of a decade.
Broadbent was deputy chairman at Barclays before joining the Tesco board as a non-executive director on 2 July.
