Health food chain Crush is launching its range of salads and wraps at 61 Sainsbury’s Local stores in London following a successful trial.
The rangewill arrive at the Sainsbury’s convenience stores on 13 May on the back of a trial at 10 of the retailer’s Local stores since July 2018
Exclusive to Sainsbury’s, it includes a selection of Crussh ‘healthpots’ and wraps, with a number of vegan and protein-based lines.
Among the products featured in the range are aGlorious greens healthpot, aSpicy chipotle corn & avocado healthpot, anAvocado & edamame healthpot, anAvocado & red pepper wrapand aButter bean & cherry tomato healthpot.
The healthy food and juice chain said the roll-out was part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its convenience and food-to-go offering and expand into areas outside traditional high street stores.
Crussh also continues to operate its concession site in Sainsbury’s Pimlico, which opened in June 2017, selling its full range of food and drinks.
Chief executive of Crussh Shane Kavanagh said: “We have worked with Sainsbury’s since 2017, and we are delighted to be strengthening our relationship by launching our range across convenience stores throughout London.”
She added that the listing at Sainsbury’s will be “a great opportunity to introduce our food to new customers whilst hopefully adding something new to the Sainsbury’s food-to-go range.”
