The Convenience Retailing Show (CRS) is set to return in 2009 offering crafty tips to help beat the credit crunch.

Close to 200 exhibitors will be at the show, which will take place at the Birmingham NEC from March 1-3, 2009.

There will be ‘Take More, Make More’ workshops aimed at helping retailers take more money, and make more profit.

Visitors to the CRS will each be given a voucher booklet which will entitle them to exclusive show offers.

There will also be money-off and special deals, which will be valuable in the current competitive trading environment.

The event will also mark launch of Café+, a showcase for the booming café, sandwich and coffee shop market which aims to help retailers who intend to incorporate café facilities in their existing shops.

Event director Matthew Butler said: “We realise that retailers need a better reason than ever to leave their stores during these tough trading times, which is why we have introduced Take More, Make More. It will include experts giving tips on how retailers can improve their business.”
