The latest innovations in crate technology were on offer from Euro Pool System at Fruit Logistica.
The company was demonstrating everything from 2D matrix scanning to its logistical calculation model, called Scope 3.
The company’s latest generation of collapsible crates were on show, featuring increased net capacity and increased space saving when collapsed.
Euro Pool System also announced it is continuing to supply the crates in both blue and green, a development introduced last year in response to the needs of its client base.
All crates will be marked with a clear number and also carry a new 2D matrix code, which can be scanned not only individually but also when stacked on pallets. Another benefit of this type of bar code is that the details remain legible even if the label has been damaged, or when it is wet or dirty.
