CoolKit Ltd, a specialist manufacturer of refrigerated vehicle conversions, has secured certification to the internationally recognised quality management system, ISO 9001:2008.
The Certificate Number 2008-0471, issued by the Vehicle Certification Agency, certifies that the Quality System of CoolKit Limited complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 within the scope of the design, manufacture and supply of insulation and temperature-controlled vehicle conversions.
It is anticipated by CoolKit that this will help further enhance its standing in the UK refrigerated vehicle conversion market.
Rupert Gatty, managing director of CoolKit, said: "Manufacturers of commercial vehicles look for suppliers who can demonstrate commitment to quality systems in support of their own - and so that is what we have done. We intend to build on this achievement by securing ISO 14001:2004 certification for environmental management systems - again in support of the requirements of our major customers."
