NFU president Tim Bennett will provide the 60th Oxford Farming Conference with a first-hand account of World Trade Organisation talks from Hong Kong.

Bennett is attending the Hong Kong round and will give delegates to the 2006 conference his reflections on what the latest WTO round means for UK farmers.

“The 2006 Conference is taking a world view with speakers from the US, Brazil, Germany and France, so Mr Bennett’s paper will put the latest developments in context for us,” said conference chairman Christopher Monk. It takes place on January 3-5. Full details are on the website www.ofc.org.uk.
