You thought BOGOFs were a thing of the past, but Re:fresh is bringing them back in recognition of the financial climate in which the industry is operating.

Organisers FPJ and the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) are selling delegate places at the

Re:fresh Conference 2009 on a buy-one-get-one-free basis.

One delegate place at the sixth annual Re:fresh Conference, which will take place at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square, on May 28, costs £259. The BOGOF offer allows you to bring a colleague, supplier or customer along to the UK fresh produce industry’s leading annual event absolutely free.

FPC chief executive Nigel Jenney said: “Both ourselves and FPJ are very aware, through our members and readers respectively, that this is one of the most difficult periods for all businesses to negotiate in recent times. We are working on a programme that will address some of the issues that are arising and analyse the options the industry as a whole has going forward.

“The Re:fresh Conference has always been designed to offer excellent value to delegates throughout its existence, and this year’s BOGOF reinforces our commitment to provide an informative and thought-provoking event to the trade at an affordable price.”

Supply chain software provider Prophet is again the main sponsor of the conference, and is also a sponsor of the Re:fresh Awards, which follows at the same venue in the evening. Florette, the UK’s leading pre-packed salad brand, continues to be the main sponsor of the awards, and also signed up as awards sponsors are MorePeople, Stubbins, Capespan, Foods from Spain, JP Fresh and New Covent Garden Market.

There are a number of ways companies can get involved with the event - go to www.refresh.eu for more details, or contact Angie Stuart at the FPC (angie@freshproduce.org.uk or +44 (0) 1733 405791).
