Leading digital trade solutions provider Community Network Services (CNS) and SeaRates will be launching a new online logistics platform this October.

Named ‘CNS Enterprise’, the new system will allow customers to optimise their end-to-end shipping and cargo processes using a single unified logistics ecosystem.

The platform allows users to manage customs and freight movement tasks seamlessly, benefiting from an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system powered by SeaRates, developers of digital freight management services.

Launching on 22 October, both companies claim that CNS Enterprise looks to address the challenges faced by logistics companies in managing their costs.

It will achieve this through offering a “comprehensive suite of tools” such as integrating essential functionalities like customs management, freight forwarding, and financial management.

As a result, it aims to make shipping more efficient and cost effective, with organised document management, tracking, and direct booking options for land, sea, and air shipments.

Managing director of CNS, Matthew Bradley, said: “We’re delighted to partner with SeaRates ERP to launch CNS Enterprise, designed to be a single home for our customers to make their cargo journeys more seamless and accessible.

“Sitting alongside our customs declarations and port community systems, CNS Enterprise will give our customers a genuine competitive advantage in an uncertain market, ensuring their supply chain journey is smoother and easier to manage.”

Group senior vice president of DP World Ayaz Maqbool commented: “At a time when the pressure to manage costs, maintain reliability and improve speed has never been greater for businesses, CNS Enterprise will give all vendors, whether large or small, the tools to efficiently manage cargo transportation from source to destination.

“Not only are we giving them the ability to take control of their own end-to-end supply chain network, but we also look forward to working closely with CNS to drive forward our joint competitiveness in the cloud solutions market with a quality product.”
