Under the theme 'the City's markets serving the nation', Spitalfields united with Billingsgate Fish Market and Smithfield Meat and Poultry Market with a colourful float – designed and built for the Corporation of London by a team from Hadlow College. The float was also spotted on the BBC's television coverage. Pictured left to right are Robert Wilson (markets committee chairman), Daniel Caspi (Smithfield) and Mike Culverwell (Spitalfields).
