Unilever chief executive Paul Polman has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at the 2011 City Food Lecture.
Polman, who has held the position since January last year, has previously worked for Procter & Gamble and Nestlé.
His paper will be followed by a panel session involving Sir Stuart Hampson, president of the Employee Ownership Association; Morrisons’ group trading director Martyn Jones; Co-operative Farms’ md Christine Tacon; and The Grocer editor Adam Leyland.
The 2011 event takes place at London’s Guildhall on 18 January.
