Grape packer Agricola Oro Verde has opened a new grape facility in the VI region of Chile. The packhouse represents an investment of some $3.4 million and plantations a further $4.5m. Building has been in association with exporter Ben David which counts the UK as a primary export destination. The companies hope to increase sales to $5.5m this year and volumes of 650,000 boxes, rising to 1m boxes in 2007.
