Last week’s strike by dockers in Chile has come to and end and fruit exports are once again moving. The four-day halt to shipments caused some disruption to sendings and further frustrated exporters who are already finding the strength of their currency against the dollar difficult. They made their feelings known to President Bachelet earlier this week as growers hand delivered cartons of grapes to her office.
