Antony Worrall Thompson and Angela Hartnett are just two of the top names featured in a brand-new online resource for chefs developed by the Bramley Campaign.
Complete with recipes from some of the UK's top culinary masters and some of the UK’s most promising aspiring young chefs, the website is perfect for those looking for new ideas and information. There is also a useful links section for easy access to the websites of catering colleges, foodservice companies and professional associations.
Renowned for using fresh produce and creating innovative cuisine, the featured chefs embody Bramley’s versatility as an ingredient. Previous winners of the Bramley Bursary, an initiative to encourage young chefs to discover the apple’s qualities, are also featured with their recipes.
Adrian Barlow, chairman of the Bramley Campaign, said: “The new online resource is an important tool to remind chefs of Bramley’s great versatility. Its unique ‘lt-in-the-mouth texture and delicious tangy taste make Bramley a perfect choice for many dishes. We look forward to adding more features to the website in the months to come, which will provide further opportunities and ideas.”
