The Campdne & Chorleywood Food Research Association (CCFRA) has published two new guides to prevent food companies who are refurbishing their premises from making costly mistakes with their hygienic design and construction.

'Guidelines for the hygienic design, construction and layout of food processing factories' looks at food hygiene related issues concerned when building or refurbishing a food factory.

Alongside comes 'Guidelines for the design and construction of walls, ceilings and utility services for food production areas'.

Both guides complement CCFRA's guidelines on the design and construction of food production areas.
