A catering firm has received the attentions of London's finest chefs after opening a facility at New Covent Garden Market.
Claridge's culinary wildman Gordon Ramsey was joined by French aces Michel Roux of Le Gavroche, the Orangerie's Henry Bertaux and Remy Fougere of the Royal Lancaster Hotel at the opening of the Personal Catering Company's (PCC) new 1,200 square foot refrigerated warehouse.
Guests tucked into fish and chips washed down with champagne, against the backdrop of live jazz.
Fruit and vegetables, oils, charcuterie, fresh meats, chocolates, cheeses, fresh lobsters and dried goods were on show.
The firm and sister business Paris Express import food direct from Paris's Rungis Market on a daily basis, and twice weekly from Milan market.
Director of sales and marketing Michael Wood said: 'Further investment in our infrastructure will mean that we are well placed to meet the future demands of our discerning clientele... in the Greater London area.'
