A car crash in Cambridgeshire has claimed the lives of three employees of Rustler Produce and a fourth who escaped to raise the alarm has been admitted to a local hospital.

The tragedy happened on a notorious stretch of road near Ramsey, Cambridgeshire early in the morning of February 1 as the four were travelling to work at Rustler’s onion packhouse. Their car was in collision with another vehicle and plunged off the road into a five-metre-deep ditch.

All of the car’s occupants are believed to be Portuguese. The dead include a couple and the father of the man who escaped the car.
