Further to a shareholding restructure at South African exporter Capespan in January this year, Dr Paul Clüver has been re-elected chairman for a further term and two new board members have been appointed: Crispin Sonn and Antonie Jacobs.

Clüver has been chairman of the Capespan Group since 1999. He holds several degrees, including a Masters in medicine and an Honorary Doctorate in agriculture. He was South Africa’s Farmer of the Year in 1995.

Sonn, executive director at Old Mutual SA, is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and the recipient of numerous accolades and awards. He serves on several boards. Jacobs is ceo of Zeder Investments Ltd, part of the PSG Group, and a chartered accountant.
