The international partnership included involvement from Maersk, Tilbury Container Services and School Aid UK.

A total of 55 boxes were sent by Capespan's UK team, of which 45 were forthe Namibia Grape Company Pre-School Centre in Aussenkehr, Namibia. Capespan UK also donated a cricket set for the school to use.

Some 350 children of farm workers on 13 Capespan farms, as well as the children on the Namibia Grape Company Farm, received gifts.

Capespan UK managing director Ronan Lennon said: “This is a wonderful idea, simple for us to participate in and great for the children receiving the gifts. I am delighted at the response from the UK team who supported the project with generosity and heart. I hope that the Aussenkehr children will enjoy their gifts.”
