Capespan will continue its support of the Children with Leukaemia charity by again handing out citrus at this year’s party.
Earlier this week, freshinfo reported that Worldwide Fruit has pledged its support for the event, on July 13. Capespan has supported this charity event for a number of years by providing Outspan clementines for every child in their packed lunch boxes.
Children enjoy eating small oranges, said Capespan’s Laraine Brown, and the Sheerness-based company is committed to encouraging the next generation to enjoy fruit as part of their 5 A DAY.
Party organisers are also delighted that the Capespan shires will again join in the fun by providing rides to children and carers.
