The Capespan team will be putting in an appearance at the Kent County Show in Detling. The event will be held over three days, from July 11-13, and Capespan will be hard at work offering samples of Cape apples and pears with Outspan grapefruits and oranges.

The Capespan shire-horses will also be in attendance and have been merrily chomping away, ready to compete in Saturday and Sunday's Heavy Horse Competitions.

Advertising & promotions manager, Laraine Brown revealed:

“Our sampling activity is being well received; 2003 crops of Cape Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Braeburn and Pink Lady have superb eating quality."

Capespan will once again be supporting the charity Children with Leukaemia, by providing Outspan clementines for the 16th Amazing Great Children's Party on July 17 in Battersea Park. Olivia Orange will be there to join in the fun, along with the Capespan shires that will be giving rides to children.

Capespan has a busy time ahead and will be jaunting up and down the country to attend the Kent County Show on July 11, 12 and 13, the Game Fair near Leeds on August 1, 2 and 3 and the Oxted & Edenbridge Show on August 24 and 25.
