Deliciouslyorkshire is calling for buyers to take part in its third annual Meet the Producer event which is taking place at York Racecourse on 6 April.
The annual event is provides an oppportunity for buyers to scout out Yorkshire’s finest producers, to expand product lines and build new contacts.
Buyers from retail, foodservice and hospitality sectors are encouraged to attend to find the best suppliers in the region.
Over the past few years the event has been well attended, with this year’s producer section already sold out.
Asda’s local sourcing and technical manager Alison Hamlett said: “The Meet the Producer event is a fantastic way to meet producers for every product category under one roof.”
Deliciouslyorkshire ceo Jonathan Knight said: “We are all looking forward to this event and welcoming a wide range of producers and buyers. We hope the event will produce some great successes and new working relationships for all.”
