Brown and Co get into gear

Farmer and agricultural business consultant Philip Dunn, of Brown & Co, and his son Ben are planning to cycle 500 miles in a week to raise vital funds for people affected by cancer.

The duo are setting out to ride between rural property and business consultants Brown & Co’s 12 offices - starting in Poland and ending up in sun-drenched St Lucia in the Caribbean.

A partner of Brown & Co, Dunn is based at the firm’s Brigg office in North Lincolnshire from which he advises growers, farmers and landowners throughout North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.

A keen sportsman he has completed several gruelling charity cycle rides in the past, although nothing quite on this scale. His love of the sport has rubbed off on to this son, who at 15 has been selected for the British Cycling Olympic Youth Talent team.

Starting at Brown & Co’s Polish office in Torun in July, the pair will then ride between the firm’s ten offices in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and complete the marathon by flying to the Caribbean and heading to their final destination, Brown and Co’s St Lucia office.
