Online ticket registration is now live for British Potato 2009, set to take place in Harrogate in November.

The bi-annual event, organised by the Potato Council and sponsored by Branston, is expected to pull around 5,000 growers, processors, retailers, researchers, specialists and consultants through its doors.

Taking place on November 25 and 26 at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate, it is an opportunity to discuss the issues that matter and seek out new information.

Advanced ticket offers have been introduced to ensure potato businesses can fast-track themselves into the event.

Rob Clayton, Potato Council head of communications, said: “There’s a lot to get through and British Potato 2009 is a day worth investing in to evaluate the opportunities facing your industry. The ticket deal means you can attend both days of the busy event and save.

“What’s more, booking in advance means you can fast-track yourself past the inevitable registration queues, giving you more time at the event to do business.”

Organisers expect more than 120 of Europe's leading companies to exhibit at the show, which will also include technical seminars organised by the Potato Council to inform delegates of the latest research-related news and developments.

The event also includes an industry dinner on November 25 including an after-dinner speaker.
