Food from Britain (FFB) is promoting quality British regional food and drink to both UK and international buyers, and profiling its services to the industry through its presence at Speciality & Fine Food Fair (September 2006) at Olympia.

Alongside the UK’s eight regional food groups, FFB aims to encourage visitors and exhibitors to find out more about its wide range of services aimed at helping producers generate business both at home and internationally.

FFB will also be promoting the EU Protected Food Name Scheme amongst producers and buyers via the FFB information stand at the show.

Kirsty Grieve, regional food and drink manager, said: “FFB’s Defra funded campaign is helping to promote the UK’s regional food and drink industry to both consumer and trade audiences. Through our presence at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, the UK’s only trade event dedicated to gourmet and speciality produce, we hope to raise awareness and commitment to the fantastic range and quality of British food and drink amongst buyers, and further encourage regional sourcing across the industry.”
