Cutting the red tape: Freshmarket@Bristol is officially opened

Bristol's new wholesale and distribution business is aimed directly at the catering and floristry sectors and operates from a 4,000sq ft facility.

The operation was opened officially in a ribbon-cutting ceremonty by David Pierce of Hazlewoods, Cheltenham on September 19.

The aim of the new firm is to provide a one-stop-shop with extended opening hours from 4am to 4pm. As well as a cash-and-carry operation Freshmarket@Bristol also offers Hurst Parnell and GF Merceråfs distribution network to customers.

Another added-value feature for customers is a programme of regular demonstrations by leading florists and chefs to support and introduce existing or new products. And Freshmarket@Bristol also offers an in-house coffee shop for clients from its base near Bristol's wholesale market.
