The Association of Brazilian Lime Producers (ABPEL) is promoting the qualities of Brazilian limes to British shoppers and chefs, as part of a campaign to raise the profile of the fruit this year.
The campaign is taking place with the support of IBRAF, the association representing the Brazilian fruit industry, and APEXBrasil, the country’s organisation for export and investment.
It focuses on the reasons for choosing a Brazilian lime, particularly the high juice content and lack of seeds.
