Branston’s new potato brand Nanna Tate has expanded its offering with the launch of a range of prepared potato dishes at Tesco from 10 February.
It follows the introduction of Nanna Tate’s fresh potato range earlier in 2025.
There are four dishes in the prepared selection: Seriously Crispy Chips, Super Crunch Roasties, Super Scrumptious Mash, and Yummy Cheesy Mash Bake.
Each has an RRP of £2, except the Super Scrumptious Mash which has a suggested cost of £1.30.
Branston says each recipe has been developed to “add a unique twist to classic potato dishes” and there are options that can be oven-baked, air-fried or microwaved.
The star of each dish are the Nanna Tate potatoes, which Branston says “have been carefully selected to ensure the creamiest mash, fluffiest roasties and crispiest chips every time”.
The range is available exclusively at selected Tesco stores in Britain and Northern Ireland from 10 February and features colourful, eye-catching packaging.
Lucia Washbrook, sales and marketing director at Nanna Tate, said: “The range has been developed to include some of the nation’s favourite potato dishes, such as creamy mash and crispy roasties, all with a unique, flavoursome twist which makes them distinctively different to other brands on the market.”
She added: “The range will provide quick and tasty dishes that require no prep, ensuring potato perfection every time. At Nanna Tate, we want to recreate the nostalgia evoked by the best potato dishes but add a modern twist that elevates the humble spud and makes it the star of the show.”
Here is a description of the four products in the new range:
Seriously Crispy Chips
Ready-to-cook skin-on Maris Piper potato chips, coated in potato flour and seasoning for crunch and a savoury flavour. Cooked in butter for extra richness.
Super Crunch Roasties
Ready-to-cook potatoes in potato flour and salt for extra crunch. The sachet of garlic and herb seasoning adds flavour.
Super Scrumptious Mash
Scrumptious mash with a big spoonful of crème fraiche “for a fresh and light yet creamy taste and texture”.
Yummy Cheesy Mash Bake
Smooth mash with cheddar with extra on top to make a crunchy topping. Best baked in the oven for a crunchy cheese top and light “soufflé-like” mash underneath.
