According to research, more than two-thirds of respondents stated that they would prefer to buy products with apples if the apples were Bramley - revealing the benefit of using the name on manufactured products.

The new-look logo is available with a choice of messages including Bramley Apples The Cook's Choice and Real Bramley Apples. It is thought to be the most noticeable of all the designs considered and has been selected for its immediate visual impact.

Ian Mitchell, chairman of the Bramley Apple Campaign, said: 'The new eye-catching design can be used by companies involved in all areas of the industry, from caterers using the logo on menus featuring Bramley dishes, to manufacturers using the logo on products such as pies, sausages and sauces.'
