Bramley management

Bramley availability should be sufficient to see the season through to the second week of August. "Sales have dropped off a tiny bit just recently, but we should have enough fruit to meet up with the new crop without there being either a gap or a hang-over of old season supplies," said Worldwide Fruit's Steve Maxwell.

He reported that there was some mixed quality coming out of store, but that supplies are being managed well. "We always expect there to be a natural decline in sales late in the season," said Maxwell, "so it is a question of managing through supplies to meet the new crop."
