The main focus of this year's Bramley week held during the first week of February was a promotion held in The Mirror newspaper to find the Bramley Family. The competition, organised by the Bramley Campaign Group and the newspaper searched for the UK family that displayed Bramley family values of caring and sharing mealtimes together.

More than 100 families entered hoping to win the top prize of a luxury holiday and the winning family featured in a four-page supplement within the newspaper during Bramley Apple Week.

The winners were the Molyneux family from Stockport who were chosen because they demonstrated a love of Bramley and represented

a modern, caring family.
