The English Bramley crop is likely to be 17 per cent down year on last year which should help bring the market into better balance, said English Apples & Pears CEO Adrian Barlow.
“Bramley volume will be down over the whole country. In some ways, this will be helpful as we have seen low prices in the last two years because of overproduction for the processing and juice markets,” he said.
