Horticultural films manufacturer bpi.visqueen has taken its brand abroad in exhibiting at the Salon du Végétal show in France.
The trade show, which took place last month in Angers, has become a major event in the European horticultural calendar and attracts commercial growers, wholesalers and retailers from all over the continent.
The manufacturer appeared at the show on the Commercial Horticultural Association stand, along with French distributor Plastidis, where it experienced high levels of interest in its extensive range of next generation horticultural films.
In particular, visitors were keen to find out more about the manufacturer’s growing selection of smart films, which are able to greatly enhance both crop quality and yield by actively managing ambient light and temperature across a variety of climatic conditions.
John Phoenix, sales director at bpi.visqueen, said: “The feedback from Salon du Végétal has been incredibly positive, and it seems that the majority of visitors were impressed by both our expertise and our dedication to on-going horticultural research. This was the first time bpi.visqueen has attended the event but we’re already planning to return next year.”
