Former Mack Multiples technologist Daniel Boakes has returned to the company as technical development director.
Boakes rejoins the business this month, having previously started at the company in 2006. He worked as a technologist in brassicas and root vegtables, before moving on to cover further products and customers.
He later moved to Spain, where he has represented Mack and Fresca as well as building and leading a commercial and technical team.
Mack managing director Nigel Trood described Boakes as a 'respected commercial horticulturist' with 'very exciting, fresh ideas that I believewill help our customers meet their sustainability targets in particular', adding that he will 'develop a more global approach to our research and NPD work.'
In further people news Trood also announced that technical director Richard Barnes is leaving the business to 'pursue fresh opportunities away from Mack'.
