British Olympian Roger Black MBE is fronting salad brand Florette’s summer brand campaign Bags of Feelgood.

The 400m runner and winner of two silver medals at the 1996 Olympics, visited the firm at its Lichfield headquarters earlier this month and officially launched Florette’s sponsorship of the Lichfield Dash spring event.

He also announced Florette’s special competition for one young Midlands sporting star to win a sports mentoring session with him later in the summer, along with the news that he will be on hand before the Florette Lichfield Dash to give runners advice, hints and tips ahead of the iconic local sprint event on 30 June.

Neil Sanderson, Florette managing director, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Roger on a national level this summer, and delighted that he has been able to come and meet the team in Lichfield as well as pledge his support to our local community activity. Roger is a recognisable sporting hero and inspirational in terms of achieving goals and healthy lifestyles, both of which are core values the Florette brand promotes.”
